About MBTI
The Mind Body Trauma Institute was founded out of a desire to improve treatment for individuals who have experienced complex trauma.
The MBTI model addresses both sides of the stored trauma to help patients process experiences and establish healthy skills to process future trauma experiences. Through an integration of EMDR protocols and somatic practices we address trauma stored in both the mind and body.
The goal of the institute is to provide training and consultation for clinicians who want to excel in the field of trauma work.
We offer multiple levels of training and support to support clinicians at every level of experience and expertise. Our intent is to cultivate a supportive community where trauma therapists can learn and grow from each other.
We offer multiple trainings throughout the year as well as ongoing consultation. See our training calendar for more information or contact us to learn more about how we can support you or your organization.
